Our Support…

Fundraisers, grants and pledges are an essential part of the development and growth of St. Anastasia Catholic School. Much of the school’s budget comes from additional support that allows the school to keep tuition affordable.

GRANTS AND DONATIONS

We have been fortunate to receive monetary grants and donations that help support our school with tuition assistance, tuition scholarships, technology, staff development, and the performing arts. Our major grants come from the William H. Hannon Foundation, Playa Vista, and the Monsignor Vadakin Arts and Education Fund. To make a donation, or find out more, contact llance@st-anastasia.org

FUNDRAISERS

The Big Events…

Our largest fundraisers throughout the year are the Parish Ball, the Men’s Club sponsored Golf Tournament and the Innisbrook drive. Substantial funding comes from these efforts and families school-wide and parish-wide are invited to contribute in some way.

Parish Ball: This is the major fundraiser for the school. The ball is a parishwide event that takes place in March and includes dinner, dancing, and a silent and live auction. The ball is attended by school families, parishioners and local residents. ‘Gift gathering parties’ take place at family homes to acquire gifts and services for the auctions. Local businesses are solicited for auction items, and each classroom creates a masterpiece for the silent auction. In addition to revenue from the auctions and the event admission tickets, the William H. Hannon Foundation donates a trip to Hawaii (or cash alternative) as a raffle prize. To get involved, contact parish@st-anastasia.org

Golf Tournament: This event is a great fundraiser and social event for the school. The tournament and dinner are run jointly with the Parish Men’s Club and the PTO and is typically held in the fall. This is organized by the Men’s Club. For more information, contact Chris Turkmany

Gift Wrap: Another successful fundraiser is our annual Innisbrook drive. This month-long fundraiser features high quality gift wrap, gifts, magazines and food items. Students and families sell gifts and paper to friends, family and neighbors.  Running low on gift wrap?  You don’t have to wait until September to support our school. Just use our school ID number 103466 when you order at Innisbrook.

eScrip Online Mall: eScrip Online Malls is an Internet based service that provides an Online Mall that earns the school up to 16% from purchases with over 1,000 name brand merchants. Families shop from the same websites they know and trust and pay exactly the same price. Our school receives a generous amount of support from this program.

eScrip Grocery Stores (Ralph) eScrip is fundraising service which works with local grocery partners, linking any purchases on your credit cards (including your friends, family, grandparents…) to generate contributions to our school.

General Mills Box Tops/Tyson labels/Campbell’s Labels for Education:

Families are encouraged to collect box tops and product labels year round. The school earns points, which are redeemed for school supplies and cash.

Recycling: Ink, Toner, Cell Phones, etc.: School families are invited to bring used ink cartridges, toner cartridges, and cell phones. The school earns supplies including reams of paper for this recycling effort.

PLEDGE PROGRAM

School Support Sunday: This event is held on Catechetical Sunday in September. Families from the school and from the parish are invited to support the school with a financial donation, in order to maintain the quality of education while keeping tuition down. The school provides an update to the parish on its activities and successes through Mass announcements and bulletin articles or inserts.

Family Pledge: Like School Support Sunday, families are asked to pledge an additional donation to help with the school finances. Pledges are tax deductable and can be made in full or four monthly payments. Fundraisers, grants and pledges are an essential part of the development and growth of St. Anastasia Catholic School. Much of the school’s budget comes from additional support that allows the school to keep tuition affordable.
