- Coordinates all fundraising activities.
- Selects project and committee chairs within the Department.
- Responsible for keeping calendar of all fundraisers to avoid unnecessary overlap.
- Acts as fundraising liaison between the school and the parish community.
- Committees under the 3rd Vice-President include: Book Fair, Jog-A-Thon, Golf Tournament, Parish Ball, School Pledge Program, Scrip Program, and other fundraising events.
Ways and Means Committees
School Support Sunday (September) - Chairperson - Dustin BalderamaSchool Support Sunday Pledge: This event is held on Catechetical Sunday in September. Families from the school and from the parish are invited to support the school with a financial donation, in order to maintain the quality of education while keeping tuition down. The school provides an update to the parish on its activities and successes through Mass announcements and bulletin articles or inserts.Family Pledge: Like School Support Sunday, families are asked to pledge an additional donation to help with the school finances. Pledges are tax deductable and can be made in full or four monthly payments. Fundraisers, grants and pledges are an essential part of the development and growth of St. Anastasia Catholic School. Much of the school’s budget comes from additional support that allows the school to keep tuition affordable.
Jog-A-Thon (October) - Chairpersons: Denise Gustafson and Jennifer GarmonParents and guests can cheer our students who participate in this event. Jog-A-Thon is both a fundraising and community building event. From a fundraising standpoint the Jog-a-Thon is very beneficial because every dollar raised comes directly to the school, rather than sharing donations with an outside vendor.
Book Fair (October) - Chairpersons - Nicole Johnson & Janel RayThis is our school’s biggest and most successful fundraiser of the year. It is a Parish and School Event, with a Silent Auction, Live Auction, Dinner and Dancing. It is truly a magical night! It is Mandatory that every school family give a least 3 of their 30 volunteer hours to this event. We need many volunteers to make all of these events possible and raise money for our school and our children.This event is a great fundraiser and social event for the school. The tournament and dinner are run jointly with the Parish Men’s Club and the PTO and is typically held in the spring. This is organized by the Men’s Club.Restaurant Fundraisers (Various) - Chairperson: Robyn SteinContacts local restuarants and organizes restuarant fundraiser nights. St. Anastasia familes and friends dine in or out on certain nights and part of the proceeds are given back to the school.See’s Candy Fundraiser (December and Easter) - Chairpersons: Patty Wiacek & Mary PaquinE‐scrip/Grocery Store Community Partners (Year round) - Chairperson - Debbie Morales

General Mills Box Tops/Tyson (Year round) - Chairperson - Christine TimesFamilies are encouraged to collect box tops and product labels year round. The school earns points, which are redeemed for school supplies and cash.
Grant Writer (Year round) - Chairperson - Paula SandovalWe have been fortunate to receive monetary grants and donations that help support our school with tuition assistance, tuition scholarships, technology, staff development, and the performing arts. Our major grants come from the William H. Hannon Foundation, Playa Vista, and the Monsignor Vadakin Arts and Education Fund. Recycling: Ink, Toner, Cell Phones, Paper (Year round) - Chairperson - Mary PaquinSchool families are invited to bring used ink cartridges, toner cartridges, and cell phones. The school earns supplies including reams of paper for this recycling effort.
