Common Core Standards
Academic standards are not new to the Catholic Schools of Los Angeles. For the past twenty years we have been using the California State Curriculum Frameworks and Standards in order to design and deliver curriculum. Three years ago the Department of Catholic Schools determined that adopting the Common Core State Standards would increase rigor and give our students a competitive advantage. On this page we have provided links to information about the Common Core and the formerly used Curriculum Frameworks. Please review the resources provided to increase your knowledge on the standards, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school office for further information.
