On Saturday, November 26, two St. Anastasia robotics teams competed in a regional qualifier for the first time in our school’s history!
The robotics teams were made up of pioneering middle school students who bravely embraced the challenges presented to them. The team members had to design, build, program, and operate an autonomous robot for the competition. In addition to the robot design, the students had to research a problem with animal and human reaction, develop a solution to the problem, and present their results to a panel of judges. It was a long day and the students had tons of fun learning how to compete in the Robotics world. Our teams represented St. Anastasia School well and should be proud of their efforts.
Next the team will compete at Legoland and all are excited to take part in our new robotics program.
