School Board

On behalf of the St. Anastasia Consultative School Board, we thank you for taking the time to visit this page and learn more about our work. The School Board is committed to the present and future success of St. Anastasia in providing the very best in Catholic education.

The School Board is established to assist the principal, and ultimately the pastor, by providing advice and counsel on a number of key areas essential for health of our school. This includes strategic planning and long-range visioning, policy formation and evaluation, financial planning and management, and communication. All of this is in service of our mission: Through the Catholic faith, St. Anastasia Catholic School is dedicated to the religious, academic, physical, and social development of the student.

The work of the board is done through several active internal committees as well as connecting with other areas of the parish and school. Current board committees include Development, Social and Emotional Learning, Alumni, and Marketing & Communications. Other board members include representatives from PTO, Parish Finance Committee and Parish Site Committee.

While much of the work occurs behind the scenes, it is through the work of the School Board that many of the school’s major developments have been generated. They include the addition of the junior kindergarten, the implementation of our Social and Emotional Learning program, RULER and the building of the Pastor’s Plaza.
The School Board was recognized for its work in 2013 by the National Catholic Education Association, receiving their prestigious Distinguished Board award.

Give us clear vision, that we may know where to stand and what to stand for. Because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.
