if it incredibly challenging year for all of us at Saint Anastasia however we All In All Year from the beginning of my time here we were committed to making sure our community Spirit was alive and well and it started with simple things like Zoom cooking classes with my husband Alex and different activities throughout the summer like family Rose Bedtime Stories and much much more it was really important to keep some of the community traditions and activities alive our jog-a-thon moved to move us on and we ran through the neighborhood and ended with a parade here on campus are musical which is normally a very loved experience in January has shifted to the end of the year and is highlighting R-III graduates as it is their last opportunity to be on campus together we had our Christmas program and I normally we fill out the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center and there's loved ones everywhere shifted we found our students safely online socially distant and made a dynamic production that came to life our students had a very different experience but this time they got to experience being on the other side of a camera rather than standing on a stage and we continue to find ways that we can go leather safely we started bringing our students on campus one class at a time for mask so that we can pray together we've offered in forces Stations of the Cross to our junior high students we pray together every morning on zoo now that more students are back on campus that something that's going play but it's an important part of our day to make sure that the students have the opportunity to see all of their friends and their families throughout the school in a normal year tuition doesn't cover the cost of all of our expenses in covid that Prince between tuition and our expenses is even greater so with everything that we've been doing the job that's on the annual appeal even this Parish ball we're trying to fill the bucket of everything that we've spent so far and as I mentioned it's over a hundred twenty five thousand and some of those cost to build for our school your help is really key and all of them we have not raised tuition at all last year we committed to keeping tuition the same and this year we still continue to keep tuition the same as well as for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year it's really important that we support you and your family and everything is going on in your own life during this pandemic but we need your help to make sure that we can continue fulfilling the mission of our school for all of our students we've made some great improvements this year because of the necessity for safety for all students but we still have more to do we need to update our hallways and our stairwell that is quite a big price tag for that project we want to be able to sanitize both efficiently and effectively that way with through all the traffic with our students and our visitors were able to continue to keep everybody say we also like to update the paint throughout the whole school to make our school nice and crisp and refreshing for all of our students as they come in the building Beach today addition we want to make some technology upgrades throughout our camp in as we look to what the future holds we want to make sure our teachers are equipped with what they need to make their learning the most effective that it can be Karina and I'm the third grade teachers future here for 3 years now but I also came from being in school K through 8th grade here kids do things need to change and it's been awesome just to see the technology get upgraded the floors redone all these awesome changes happen to make it as successful as possible here it's in the past the Paris ball has helped to make states to our fields to our library to our science room and while some of these haven't been used in their full capacity because of covid vaccine been blessings with what they are the space in a science room and Library are being used right now for a Junior High student field is being used to safely how our students spread out during practices during lunch time and giving them a chance for fresh air it's really important that we continue these improvements throughout our school not just because of covid-19 masks for each one of our students and we want to continue offered in the best that we can be celebrating in person tonight this year's efforts and donations are equally if not more important than ever so thank you for being all in we are all in it where Alan are you
